MiigWetch to our Elders who have provided guidance to our organization since its inception. In 1992 the organization changed its name to Gezhtoojig Employment and Training. HISTORYThe Sudbury Area Management Board was established in 1991 via Federal transfer of Employment and Training funds from Human Resource Development Canada (Service Canada). We will develop public and private partnerships with all employment and business sectors to promote the employability and economic success of Anishnabek people. These two elders also provided us with our Anishinabe name.Zhaashkwogiizhigokwe (Flora Tabobondung), who passed on to the spirit worldMinGaaBiiKwe ( Christine (Tina) Mandamin), Wasauksing First Nation, Wikwemikong First Nation.
